Today, and it’s all from St Mark’s – as we celebrate St Mark and our patronal festival! A chance to look back over the last year as our sermon today gives way to a look at all we’ve achieved with our friends at St Thomas over the past twelve months.
Today, St Thomas lead and our focus is on bearing witness. St Mark’s bring the sermon, prayers and music, with our BCM worship team members taking the reigns for our talk and intercessions today.
As we enter the Easter period, we continue our celebration of the risen Lord – and today, St Mark’s lead and St Thomas bring the sermon, prayers and music.
We’ve reached the end of Lent and from the lows of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, we’ve reached Easter day. For our 10am service, St Thomas lead and St Mark’s bring the music, prayers and sermon.
Saturday 3rd April is Easter Eve, and in a service from darkness to light, St Mark’s and St Thomas lead a vigil service – passing from the pain of Jesus death on Good Friday and looking forward to the glorious return on Easter Sunday.

Sunday the 28th March is Palm Sunday and brings us into the last week of Lent – as we come into Holy Week and the journey to the cross at Easter. For our 10am service we’re proud to present our dramatized Passion reading, brought by members of both St Mark’s and St Thomas churches.
Sunday the 21st March is the fifth Sunday of Lent and is also known as Passion Sunday. For our 10am service it’s St Thomas who are leading as today Peter is …going for a walk?
Sunday the 14th March is the fourth Sunday of Lent but it’s also Mothering Sunday – we hope you’re going to treat your mum to something special! For our 10am service it’s St Mark’s leading as today we focus on cathedrals (and Mums!)
Sunday the 7th March is the third Sunday of Lent and for our 10am service it’s St Thomas taking a lead as today we focus on creativity in prayer with St Mark’s throwing out a few ideas!
