In the Autumn we aim, with the help of the Community, to spend a day giving the churchyard an extra clear up – covering more areas than our monthly helpers can manage. Our sincere thanks to all who assisted in with refreshments and those who flexed their muscles, to clear away weeds, brambles and bushes that have taken root through the churchyard!

As part of the New Forest District Council’s New Forest Spring Clean initiative St Mark’s were proud to host this event for our village of Pennington. With a preceding week of grey skies, scattered showers and rain, it was to great relief that the skies remained dry – and on occasion, blue and sunny!
