Sunday 31st October, 3pm
Every year the Church remembers those we love who have died. The traditional name for this time is “All Souls”. At St. Mark we hold a special service to remember those who have died, especially those who have died in the last few years.
Over the years many people have found that this service has helped them to take a further step towards the healing of their memories and emotions as we remember those who have died and whom we have commended into the care of God. We extend a warm invitation to you to attend this service. Any members of your family and friends, who would like to come to the service, including children, will be very welcome. The service includes an opportunity to remember people by name. We will also have hymns and short readings.
At St Mark’s Church, we have a book of remembrance, where we can record the names of those that have died. If you would like to have your loved one remembered in this book, please do let us know via email to ‘takepart@penningtonchurch.uk‘
We do hope you will be able to join us and we look forward to welcoming you.
