St Marks Church Pennington organised a special Remembrance Service ahead of time attended by local Veterans, Councillors and representatives from the community including Pennington Infants, Pennington Junior and Our Lady and St Joseph schools, so that they could pre record the laying of the reefs and some of the community together so that this could be streamed to members of the local community on Remembrance Sunday and used on the 11th November for the children to celebrate and remember in school.
