Sunday the 26th April is the Third Sunday of Easter, but today it’s also St Mark’s patronal festival! Today, Rachel from St Mark’s leads our service as we take the celebration of our church namesake online!
This weekend is our patronal festival. Obviously, we can’t meet in person, as we usually would! We will be celebrating on youtube at 9:30am on Sunday morning. All are welcome to join us. Normally, we run the draw on the fourth Wednesday coffee morning of the month; alas, with St Mark’s currently closed due to the Coronavirus lockdown, this was done on our 4th Tuesday Zoom coffee morning of the month instead. Did your numbers come up?

Sunday the 12th April is Easter Sunday – and together we celebrate the risen Christ, for whom death can not hold. This service lead by Peter Salisbury of St Thomas’ with Bishop Debbie Sellin leading our sermon.
On Saturday 11th at 8pm, St Mark’s holds a service for the Easter Vigil – remembering the lull from Christ buried in the tomb before rising triumphant on Easter Morning.
