Thank you for your continued support for St Mark’s Church, Pennington, during this unexpected season. I wanted to write to keep you up to date with what’s been happening, and to let you know the current situation.
Sunday the 28th June is the Third Sunday after Trinity. Peter from St Thomas church leads this service – and Rachel from St Mark’s helps with our sermon and prayers: members of St Mark’s have come together for a special version of ‘Seek Ye First’ too!
An Update from St Mark’s for the 27th June.
Normally, we run the draw on the fourth Wednesday coffee morning of the month; alas, with St Mark’s currently closed due to the Coronavirus lockdown, this was done on our 4th Tuesday Zoom coffee morning of the month instead.
Sunday the 21st June is the Second Sunday after Trinity. Rachel from St Mark’s church leads this service – and Peter and Sarah from St Thomas’ helps with our sermon, music and prayers.
Notices for Sunday 21st June from St Mark’s.
Across the New Forest, a team of stitchers have been creating thousands of scrubs and bags for our local hospitals.
Sunday the 14th June is the First Sunday after Trinity and today we enter the long stretch in the church calendar referred to as ordinary time! Of course, the times are never ordinary – particularly with racial unrest and global pandemic – but united as the body of Christ, we can help to make a difference against the ills in our world, to recognise and challenge injustice in His name.
Notices for Sunday 14th June, as we’re midway through June and into ordinary time!
