A few of our congregation recently took part in Ride and Stride. An annual charity event in support of the Hampshire and the Islands Historic Churches trust (www.hihct.org.uk), it encourages participants to travel to churches and chapels across the region.
As part of being open for this, St Mark’s also hosted Churches and Chapels on the Air (www.wacral.org/chota-2019/) – with an amateur radio setup broadcasting through the day from the churchyard!
