March 2019 from St Mark’s – where this month, we look towards Easter: asking the question why Easter moves each year?
In the year 325, at the Council of Nicea, they established that Easter would be held on the first Sunday after the first Full Moon occurring on or after the vernal equinox – which means that Easter falls between March 22nd and April 25th. This year it is on April 21st, one of the latest days that it can be!
