Bishop Debbie has announced that Revd Rachel Noel, currently Priest in Charge of Pennington, has been offered and has accepted the post of Priest in Charge of St James Church, Pokesdown, Bournemouth. Sadly this means that Rachel will be leaving St Mark’s Church, Pennington. Join us for her last Sunday with us from 3pm on the 21st August.
Notices for the Tenth Sunday after Trinity; do join us on Sunday from 3pm for Rachel’s final service with St Marks – followed by tea and cake in the churchyard (weather willing!) – note, there is no 8 or 10am services on the 21st.
Every day, volunteers and visitors to St Mark’s Churchyard, Pennington are faced with litter strewn across the churchyard, including bottles and cans, plastic and wrappers, and drug paraphernalia. How you can help us to overcome this antisocial behaviour?
