In a special service of licencing on Wednesday 24th, we warmly welcomed Rev’d Canon Michael Edwin Burson-Thomas, a native of the West Country, back to the area – as he takes on the role of Priest in Charge for St Marks!
Michael has a rich history of ministry, including serving in Southampton, the Mothers’ Union, and Lincoln diocese. He brings a wealth of experience in nurturing spirituality and supporting parishes. Outside of his ministry, Michael enjoys writing poetry and playing guitar. He and his wife, Nette, have returned to their Lyndhurst home and are already active in the community. We’re sure you will join us in welcoming Michael, Nette and their family to our church.
