Loving God, we thank you for your incredible mercy and the grace you pour into our lives. Please help us to forgive others just as generously as you have forgiven us, so that we may release any bitterness in our hearts. Guide us to look past our differences, to withhold unfair judgement, and to embrace our neighbours with genuine warmth. May we always live in harmony and be gentle instruments of your peace.

Anna Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care
St Mark’s Pastoral team have joined up with St Thomas’s Pastoral team so care visits can be coordinated across the parishes. Holy Communion Intinction
The CoE’s national policy is that intinction (dipping) of wafers is not permitted, to keep safe those with particular health conditions. Those with severe allergies, particularly to gluten, can become seriously ill. There is a chance that a person’s fingers could touch the outside of the chalice or the wine, as hands carry many more germs than found on our lips.
It is important to remember receiving Communion in ‘one kind’ is still Communion ‘in full’.
Pennington Community Hub
The Community Hub continues it’s successful work on Thursday in the Community Hall from 11pm to 2pm.
Daily Prayer
Zoom morning prayers was started in Covid by the then vicar of Lymington Peter Salisbury. We use The Daily Prayer App and from that read prayers, a psalm and a NT lesson. We are a small group – 5 in all, 4 from St Thomas and 1 from St Marks and would love to have more join us.
The morning prayers are Monday to Friday, so at present each of us leads for one day. If there are saints or special people for the day the leader looks them up and gives a quick resume… We start at 09.00 for 20 mins. We are flexible about attendance – we all have busy lives and cannot be available every day.
With St Thomas in Lymington, we continue to ‘pray for our nation, for its leaders, its health and essential services and all those who suffer’ this week at 9am on Zoom. Led by members of St Mark’s and St Thomas congregations, this now runs Monday through Friday.
Daily prayer is also taking place in St Thomas church from 9am on Saturdays
Coming together, we offer daily prayer for the situation in Ukraine.
