It’s nearly Christmas Day and as we look forward to the bright new dawn, we come together to celebrate the upcoming birth of Christ.
One for the children – and young at heart – working together with St Thomas church in Lymington, our Crib and Christingle service on the 24th December starts our final Christmas countdown! Peter and Rachel explain the story of Jesus birth, and Rachel has some interesting alternatives to the traditional Christingle (if you can’t source the ingredients for the normal offering!)

Sunday the 6th December is the the Second Sunday of Advent – and for our 10am service today it’s back to St Mark’s taking the lead with our now the normal for 2020 Christmas tree and comfy sofa (how many do you know with their tree up now too?) St Thomas’ provide the music, prayers and sermon – which today, talks about a key ideal for Advent: Peace. Shalom!

Sunday the 29th November is the the first Sunday of Advent – and for our 10am service today St Thomas’ lead, overcoming some technical difficulties! St Mark’s provide the music, prayers and sermon – ably presented by George Kidner, on the Bishops Permission to Preach course from Winchester Diocese.
Sunday the 15th November is the second Sunday before Advent – and for our 10am service today St Thomas lead our service from “A Wee Worship Book”, a Celtic slant to our service! St Mark’s are proud to support Kevin Smith, an ordinand in training who leads our sermon this morning.
Sunday the 8th November is Remembrance Sunday – and for our 10am service today St Mark’s and St Thomas remember the fallen in conflict with a pre-recorded act of remembrance at the Pennington war memorial.
