2020, and many of our usual christmas traditions will look somewhat different this year. One of the fabulous things that usually happens in Pennington is our Christmas Fayre, bringing together people from across our community to create a great evening for everyone. We wanted to find a way to connect the amazing people of this community, and to share the fabulous gifts and skills of so many.
So from December 1st to 25th, the Pennington Community Advent Calendar will develop along our churchyard hedge. Children in our local schools, preschools and nursery are decorating a board for each day that will go on our hedge, supported by Spencers Estate agents. A local community figure will be reading a story, and from church, we will be creating the videos and pulling it altogether.
