October 2018 and it’s the harvest season!
October is the season for harvest, a time in which we marvel at the natural world and savour the fruits of creation. The weather has made this year a challenging one for many farmers, with extremes of cold early in the season, and the extended heat and drought of the summer. Many of us buy our fruits & vegetables from supermarkets, and are perhaps shielded from the very real challenges this year has brought to those growing and harvesting our food.
