The start of a new year and the good times of Christmas fade into memory as the dark and cold of the season remain. Are the good times temporary?
Jesus was born into our world to live a life just like ours. He may have faced different circumstances but his troubles were no easier than our own. He was born miles from his home town, he was a refugee early in his life, his legitimacy was doubted, he was born a Jew, his family couldn’t understand the work he was doing in telling people about God, he was betrayed by his closest friends, he had a false trial and he died for false charges.
