On Sunday 27th June, at approximately 11am (after our service in church), Kit Dashwood’s ashes will be interred with her family in St Mark’s Churchyard. All are welcome to attend.
Continuing service pattern in July
We’re still working out what works best for an in-building service, taking into account the restrictions that are still in play; and we’re also looking into what times for services works best too, for those coming to St Mark’s.
Continuing into July, we will be hosting on every Sunday an 8am BCP Communion service. Taking on board feedback about difficulties for some of our congregation in arriving for a service at 9am, we have been trialling the 9am service being moved to 10am instead – with this alternating between an informal Morning Praise service or a Contemporary Communion service.
As we look forward to the possibilities and potentials of services within St Mark’s once more, we welcome your feedback and comments as to how these changes may work for you. Please do feel free to get in touch via ‘takepart@penningtonchurch.uk‘ to share your thoughts.

New Life Church Event
New Life Church in New Milton are thrilled to be having Barry Woodward with them on Friday the 30th of July at 7pm. A great opportunity to bring those who do not yet know Jesus to hear an amazing testimony from a brilliant communicator and evangelist.
Barry Woodward grew up in Salford, Greater Manchester. At 16, he left school with no qualifications and became drawn into the Manchester music and drugs scene. This led to a life of heroin addiction and drug dealing. After being dependent on heroin for 15 years and spending a number of terms in prison, Barry had what he described as a “religious experience”, which resulted in his life being totally transformed.
